So to recap – Year One: First year around the sun.  Year 2: Back to the Future and that brings us to Year 3: The Nintendo Anniversary for WHYM Craft Beer Cafe.  I’m an original NES girl from way back, but my wheelhouse was Tetris. All day. For hours. Sometimes some Duck Hunt and Mario Brothers.  But there’s nothing more soothing than an intense game of Tetris! A place for everything and everything in it’s place.  But this was all about the Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right B A.  For those of you not in the know, that’s the Konami Code – and now you have a full set of power-ups!

You also had the opportunity to power up with many a craft beer! Garrison City, Maine Beer Co, Victory, Left Hand, Deciduous, Smuttynose, Rising Tide, Ommegang and Allagash to name a few! Once again, Hippie Chick Bakery takes the cake.  Like to a whole new level of WOW.  That Nintendo controller looks good enough to eat!

It was a perfect day – and long time regular Steve surprised owner Alex with custom WHYM cornhole bean bags! How amazing are they!?
