What’s so fun about having a strange lady tell you to stand still and smile?  Nothing.  Nothing at all.  It’s kind of creepy actually.  You know what’s more fun?  As evidenced by this Short Sands Maine family session? Running around and laughing at the strange lady running around and laughing with you! 

You’re three years old. You’re on vacation. The sun is setting. It’s low tide so there are fun puddles and streams all over.  You know there’s a surprise waiting for you at the end (parents, don’t be above incentive for your children. Don’t be above calling it a bribe, either :-p). Best of all, you can’t stop smiling!  Most kids this age, this little guy included, have their own agenda at three (or at any age) and in my opinion that makes for far better photos!  

We started with the standard shots.  Clean, camera forward, sandless…. and then he lost attention and I got my exercise in! It’s the best of both worlds!
