And this time, it wasn’t me! Well, it was still me, but also my curl boinging friend from the west coast!

What’s better than a Plum Island Family Photo session? Two Plum Island Family Photo sessions!

Somewhere back in 2009, I stumbled across a photographer on the internet who happened to be in my area. She seemed really cool.

Way too cool for me.

But, I bit the bullet and reached out. She was a good sport and said hey – come on over!

So we met in her ultra fab loft apartment and she showed me work. We had pizza. We talked about the industry and its craziness. She was pretty awesome and we remained in touch.

Over the years she did a family session for us, we’ve passed referrals back and forth, she’s moved across the country, furthered her uber-talented hobby of sewing and oh yeah, married a great guy and created an adorable child.

She and the fam were coming back east for a week’s vacation and wanted to do an anniversary session and an extended family session. And she asked MEEEE!!

I was so excited to see her and catch up and meet the little blonde ringletted sprite.

What a difference a few days makes in the weather, too. I mean heck, what a difference a few minutes makes in the weather.

When we met at the beginning of the week, it was bright and sunny and HOT. The end of the week we were dodging raindrop, but their rental house was spectacular and between the bright living room and the wrap around porch, we didn’t let the rain get us down!

Family vacations together are so foundational. I hope they make memories for years to come!
