It was like it was yesterday. I walked into the Beachmere Inn Lobby to await these Ogunquit Maine Family Vacation Photos from this family who had left such a vivid memory in my heart.

At their first Marginal Way Session, the littlest one immediately took my hand and barely let go enough for me to take photos. ?

This year, however, they were back with their cousins and of course all a few years older… Too old for hand-holding.

It happens to the best of kids – and it happened for mine YEARS ago so I’ll take whatever I can get!

There’s no greater compliment though than a child who upon meeting you sizes you up immediately to be a good, trustworthy person worthy of hand-holding.

Back to this year though – with the whole family in tow, we set out along the beach for some photos and mayhem.

We tried to avoid getting wet, really we did ??‍♀️?but the draw of the surf was just too great.

Thankfully, it’s not my first rodeo. I know to always start with a full series on dry land before heading to the water whenever possible.

Once one gets a little damp, they all inevitably end up soaked, and that’s how good Ogunquit Maine Family Vacation Photos are made of!
