The weather was overcast, with that late fall chill and rawness in the air, but in all honesty, that’s the BEST light for family pictures with little ones. No one squints and the colors pop. You don’t have to persuade little ones to stay in the shade and it makes snuggling together all that much more fun!
First to steal her parents’ hearts was this absolute beauty! Perfection in every way. The curls, the bow, the eyebrows!
And the SWEETNESS!! We weren’t entirely sure how she would do gently holding her baby sister, but she was a natural!
My heart melts into a giant puddle of AWW when I see these pictures!
But, being only 2, she quickly lost interest in the picture perfect big sister role, so she ran off to play (though frequently checked back in to make sure that I was being good to her baby sister.) 
Cheeks! And a little button nose. And darling eyelashes. But really – back to cheeks!
