Meredith & Jon contacted me about their Intimate Newburyport Fall Wedding, and I was happy to be of service.
The plans of Maudslay State Park for the first-look, Inn Street Playground where they first met for some family photos, Newburyport Town Hall for the ceremony and Nixs (RIP) for a stunning celebratory dinner & live music all sounded divine, but to see them actually come to life was beyond anything I could have imagined!
Jon waiting for his bride to be and Meredith looking beyond stunning! That dress had me swooning! But most of all, it had Jon speechless!
The couple had perfectly overcast skies. The colors popped, and there was no place we couldn’t shoot. Clouds are a photographer’s best friend. Would you look at THAT TREE!? Bring in the kids! Time for utterly adorable, completely color coordinated, cheese balls full of laughs, kids! As I mentioned, Meredith & Jon met at the playground, while their children were at play! And some more family! Sometimes it’s rough being the only boy 😉 Sensational!
After Maudslay we headed into town for the ceremony but had a little time to kill so we hit up the heart of downtown and my favorite coca-cola wall. The scene of the crime! (He stole her heart, theft is a crime.. being this corny is probably crime too) Off to city hall to get married! Sealed with a kiss! Finally! Vavavavroom! A sassy car – that blue! Oh! I spy more awesome blue! The atmosphere and food at NIX was really good. I was sorry to see it went out of business when I tried to take a friend back there a few months ago. It was a great place for their reception, though!
First of all, thank you, Meredith & Jon, for having me on your excellent Newburyport adventure – and in addition, congratulations on your new bundle of joy!
