What do you do when your heart screams tropical island but your guests are all here? You seamlessly combine the two worlds with a Newburyport MA Wedding!

This couple has known each other off and on for 18 years. Two years ago, they reconnected and the rest was written in the stars.

Lovers of beach, sun, sand and all things island life, they wanted to celebrate their love with as many friends and family as possible in a casual, but stunning affair!

A wonderful ceremony at Newburyport’s Waterfront Park followed by a lively reception at Surfside in Salisbury, MA brought their fun in the sun celebration to life!

Sides note – I had no idea Salisbury had such a hidden treasure in the form of these seaside cabanas at Surfside! I wasn’t planning on heading to the reception, but we had some extra time so I went ahead and popped by a few details and their entrance. I was stunned by this gorgeous oceanside deck!

I’m all for cocktails by the water, but not on the sand.

If I hadn’t had another obligation that afternoon, I might have just purchased a drink and cozied up in the corner for a few! And I’d really like to go back this summer and do just that!!

But enough about me and my desire for relaxation HAHA.
