For someone who doesn’t ski, I am totally in love with chair lifts. The peace and serenity of the slow ascent or descent. The ever-changing view. Feeling like you’re totally secure and also completely free? I didn’t think it could get any better than that. Then Emily & her dad ascended the mountain for this Newburyport Mount Sunapee Summer Wedding Ceremony & Photograph Session. And I found out how it could be better.
It’s simple really, the hills were alive with the sound of music.
Em’s dad came prepared for the journey. A bottle of champagne and some red solo cups, a game of Boggle, and his mandolin. He serenaded us all with a custom rendition of sweet caroline as we gently glided up the mountain.
Videographer I am not, but I had to at least try and preserve a few seconds of this magic.
Also, I was totally crying and singing along.
Once at the top of the mountain, the tears kept flowing. Bruce was so full of love and emotion for his bride to be. The way they look at each other is so wonderful. Don’t even stop looking at each other that way!!
You can’t beat the backdrop of a Mount Sunapee Summer Wedding. The mountain top ceremony area was nuzzled in this little cove of trees and the warm afternoon light was trickling in.
After we all made it back down the chairlift, the party started and stayed strong all night! This family has a crew of professional dancers (?!) and they were swinging and swaying their way across the dance floor!
The love of friends and family is so strong with these two, strong like their hugs. Which are next level make you feel like you’re the most important person in that moment good.
Thank you friends, for the hugs, the laughs, the tears, the chairlift, and the most amazing memories.
