Sometimes I feel like maybe we go out too much, or perhaps we shouldn’t hang around bars as much as we do.. but then, I wouldn’t know some of the awesome people I have met through shared love of the craft beer community! Jenn & Kayla attended the first annual Beer, Cheese & Chocolate pairing at Throwback Brewery waaaaaaay back when, and we happened to end up at the same table. (And yes, the event is as spectacular as it sounds, Nichole & I just attended the 5th annual!) But back on topic – I was so excited when Jenn & Kayla started planning their Moody Mountain Farm Same Sex Wedding – after learning of their finalized plans I wrote “This all looks great! It sounds like a perfectly relaxed chill celebration, and I can’t wait! (also Mojos?! Yum!)” and their response was “We were going for relaxed and chill, so I’m glad that’s how you interpreted it! Super excited! Mojos BBQ and homebrew! What more could you want out of a wedding?!! :)” And it WAS perfect.

The property is simply amazing. Every table was a different brewery they’d been to with a growler from that brewery holding their simple collection of wildflowers. Um ..whoopie pies are one of my best childhood memories. And this display is one of my favorite adult ones π Homebrew station ready to go! Blonde Bride & Brunette Bride! How fitting π I sort of wish we’d engraved our wedding rings.. The bowties man. The bowties. Someday I’ll learn how so I can rescue that moment, but until then, the internet’s where it’s at.
It made for a great series of photos and the best faces, though! The lovely brides to be!And the ceremony location in the “sunken garden” – With that tree?! It was all so breathtaking.
Love letters in a box. And a reading about zombies. Newly wedded!! Family is so very imperative to the two of them. This special crew was crucial to the celebration of their day! While the focus was of course on Jenn & Kayla – this little guy kept distracting me momentarily with his cuteness, and that ‘don’t you think I don’t know it’ look! Cheers m’dears! No really – that tree – we come back to it later – it gets better! Their first dance π Their puppy needed to be included too!! These folks just exuded happiness and a good time. Everyone was so full of personality and SMILES! We ended back at the tree, just after dusk. Everything glowed a little golden red and had an ethereal feel to it. I’m so happy to have met you ladies and thankful you asked me along on your wonderful Moody Mountain Farm Same Sex Wedding adventure! (I still hate SEO keyword placement)
