Are you ready for one of my most favorite family shoots?

ma·tri·arch/ˈmātrēˌärk/ noun:  1. A woman who is the head of a family or tribe. 2. A woman who is powerful within a family or organization.

Maggie is most certainly that – and her tribe is to DIE for!  She and her 16 family members (1 husband, 5 children, 3 children-in-law, 6 grandchildren and the best dog ever!) had me over just after Thanksgiving and we used the beautiful November weather to the fullest advantage!

We went through every permutation of this gang.  Grandkids, grandparents, families, girls, boys, puppy!  It was a great time.

The little one had just woken up from her nap and wasn’t quite sure what was going on.  The rest of the family was behind me trying to get her attention – and when I turned around, this is what I saw!

Their dog was the sweetest, most loyal, patient puppy.  Just waiting to be loved!  And do the kids ever love the dog!
