I had so much fun with this family during their Dover, NH family photos over Memorial Day Weekend!
The kids were full of ideas and suggestions, and a few times I heard their parents tell them to just be good listeners and let me do my job. And while I *strongly* encourage wearing your listening ears at all times, I also highly encourage your children’s suggestions! (And your suggestions, too, for that matter!)
When the kids come up with ideas and feel heard, they tend to participate longer and have more fun with it. Not only that, they often have some super fun and cute ideas. Then when they’re looking at the images after delivery, they can see an idea they had come to life! It’s a win-win-win! You get well-behaved kids, I get help with ideas, and we make great memories!
I have so many favorites from this session – and they all have input from the kids. I can’t pick between the laying in the grass, the family cuddle puddle, the sibling “love”, or kitty snuggles! What’s your favorite?!
