It’s the way she throws her head back when she laughs.  The way he looks at her like he’s hit the jackpot (he has).  The way they’ve known each other for nearly 9 years and on a Sunday afternoon in August, the stars aligned and the family and friends they deservedly treat like gold all gathered in one place to watch them say I do.  And that’s just the beginning of the magic that took place in this Bella Luna Milky Way Summer Wedding. 

I really don’t have the words to put together to tell you how amazing this wedding was. How fantastic these people are.  How they put their hearts and souls into everything they do.  From a smile to a hug, to a dance – they just exude the love and kindness that humanity needs. And the universe notices that kind of love and selflessness.  So did the nuns who photobombed us in the Arboretum happily offering to be in their photos!  

There were a few lessons learned at this wedding too – like: preemptive band-aids are a good thing.  Shout wipes are a savior. And sometimes, your Spanx will cause your dress to wring itself into a crooked mess while you walk and you’re probably better off without them. 

The lessons I took away from it though, is that kindness begets kindness.  Sara and Brandon put out an energy that only attracts the best people.  And I was honored to be among them, if only for an afternoon! And also, that Bella Luna and the Milky Way is one of the coolest places on the planet and their pizza is delicious!
