I’ve said it before, and I’m sure I’ll say it again. Katy & Katrina are rockstars. Being present for their Mount Snow Same Sex Wedding is something I’ll never, ever forget. Everything was so spectacular from custom New Balance sneaker start to homemade Shot Ski finish! (What, you don’t know what a shot ski is? You’ll find out!) After multiple get-togethers and their Exeter, NH engagement session, I knew that the wedding was going to a blast, but I couldn’t have even begun to imagine the amount of fun it was!
Two sets of rings – one for everyday – and one for adventure days!
Both girls got ready with their mothers and then Katrina, and I took the Bluebird express up to the summit for the first look! I don’t have a lot of experience in ski lifts, but this was incredibly fantastic.Katy followed up a few minutes later. It was pretty freaking cold up at the top, but you’d never know with all the love and anticipation going on! The view was absolutely breathtaking. And the mountains and foliage looked nice too 😉 We’d planned plenty fo time for the first look and took the opportunity to walk around the mountain a little – and get some great shots.
*swoon* Then it was back down to take some family & wedding party photos before the ceremony! The foliage was just starting to make itself known, but this tree was IN IT TO WIN IT. And so was the wedding team! Let’s get married! Mazel Tov! Katy & Katrina are so beautiful together! They’ve got the perfect combination of silly and sweet. And here, you learn what a shot ski is. Pure awesome.
Cupcakes for days! (My kind of days!!) Everyone’s toasts were so sincere. A few times I was crying right along with Katrina. Abominable snowmen cake toppers!
Favorite! (Also, my first wedding where the brides fed me too – such delicious carrot cake!)
I tried multiple times to trim some photos out of this post, but they’re all my favorites, and the story is such a great one to be told!
Thank you thank you m’dears for sharing your freaking fantastic day with me!
