“I cannot endure to waste anything so precious as autumnal sunshine by staying in the house.”
[Notebook, Oct. 10, 1842]”
― Nathaniel Hawthorne, The American Notebooks
Well said Mr. Hawthorne, well said!
There’s a different kind of magic in the fall sunset. The angle to the earth and all that scientific mumbo jumbo I suppose, but I tend to think there’s a little extra electricity in the air too. Or maybe that’s just Nadia and Rich.
I arrive at every engagement shoot prepared to assure my couples that having your photo taken can definitely feel awkward at first, but that we’ll just keep laughing, making inappropriate jokes, and canoodling and it will feel pretty easy (and even fun) by the end. And I promise, it’s never not been fun by the end. But these two needed no such encouragement. They are so in love, and so comfortable with each other, that we hit the ground running and it only got better from there!
I’m so excited for their September Nahant Wedding!
