I’m not sure I’m smarter than a 12th grader ;) I’m sure these guys flew through senior year with flying colors! You all are amazing — much happiness & success to all the MKP Class of 2011!

Clarissa is gorgeous and so easy and relaxed in front of the camera.  These three are my absolute FAVORITES from the session.

 

Not to say I don’t love the other photos too — I mean, I know you’re not supposed to pick a favorite, but we always have one… Oh wait, that’s children! ;)

When his mum called and said they needed senior pictures in a hurry! (senior pictures in a hurry?…I digress) I was more than happy to help them out!

He wasn’t what I would call excited to have his pictures taken, but he whole heartedly agreed that at least it was “only me” and better yet he didn’t even have to leave his front yard to have them done.

Dad made me promise we’d get at least one with out the hat.  We got at least 2! Mission accomplished.

These are my favorites.  I asked Billy what he wanted to do and he said, snarkily, climb that tree.  So I called him on it.  woot!

Once I was sure we had enough to make mum & dad happy I released him from my wrath.

Another ‘little’ kid I’ve known for a while growing up and graduating.  Enough already!

She too, after seeing his senior photos, called me to see if I was available to come back up to the Laconia area and take Bethany’s photos.  And Bethany’s friend Mariah needed photos too, so after hanging with Elizabeth, I made my way to Bethany’s house and we adventured off on a photo outing. Th girls took me on a tour of Gilmanton and we found a bunch of great spots for photos.

She’s so natural and at ease!  And not afraid of heights ;)

She told me she preferred spring to fall and wished she could have her senior photos with some awesome flowers.  Well, it might not be spring, but we were able to find some awesome flowers! :)

And then we drove to a field in the middle of nowhere (that I found out later was across the street from an upcoming bride & grooms house, hi Lauren & Pat!) The colors were just starting to be brilliant.

After a few weather mishaps we finally met at the beach on an early Tuesday morning for our shoot.  Ryan didn’t seem the slightest bit disgruntled that we’d gotten him out of bed super early in the last few days of summer freedom.

Eileen drove us up the coast a bit — it was kind of nice having a chauffeur :)

My brief time with Ryan left me with the impression that he was an easy going, personable, respectful young adult — very much like his older sister.  Many kudos to them and their parents!

I hope the last half of senior year is going smoothly!  Thanks for waking up for our adventure!

Congratulations David, you’re 1/2 way through senior year!  Hope it’s been good so far! :)

Sarah just exudes confidence — I think she should be a super model.

 I love shooting wtih 2 cameras set up with different lenses. Two totally different feelings with out either of us moving an inch.

Kody’s aunt Sarah and I have been friends since 7th grade.   After taking pictures for Sarah, her sister/Kody’s mum Jenn & their brother Mike — Jenn got in touch with me to find out if I could take Senior Pictures for her baby boy.  First I said no — but only because it was just simply not possible that the tiny baby I remember was a SENIOR.  Once I realized how old I am I happily said yes yes!

Kody is a character.

And a pirate?  

And a tree frog.…   

 But he is also handsome and intelligent.

  I said it once and I’ll say it again.

…Oh Kody.

I’m glad for the moments from my past that creep into my now!
